President’s October Letter
Dear Members,
There was no meeting in October due to lack of a quorum. With two months left in 2005 the board is working towards plans for next year. A budget work shop meeting is scheduled for October 26th. The Board hopes to approve this budget at our November meeting. The board is also planning on renewing our convents this year. We are awaiting review by our attorney. This should be done in time for the November meeting. The County has informed us that our request for reimbursement for hurricane clean up costs is scheduled for the October 25th meeting. Work continues on plans for the park/preserve clean up. Our common grounds committee is developing recommendations to present to the board for approval.
We have been having problems updating channel 63. Our new equipment is on order and we will have channel 63 updated as soon as possible.
The next board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday November 9th 7:30 P.M. at the fire station.
