Dear Members:
For those of you who haven't had an opportunity to visit the new Pheasant Walk community website, our web address is pheasantwalkhoa.com. The Communication Committee has done an excellent job in preparing the site and you will find some interesting updates and community information.
The park improvements are progressing each week. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to thank all the volunteers who have worked hard each weekend to see this project through.
The Golf Tournament Committee conducted it's first meeting on 7/22/03. It was determined that the tournament will be held at the "newly renovated " Delray Municipal Golf Course again this year. This year's date had to be moved back a month due to the construction and possible late completion of the course renovations.
This year's tournament will be held on Saturday, November 22nd. We had a great time last year so mark your calendar and don't miss out on a fun event. Entry forms and Sponsor forms will be going out in the next newsletter and we will post the forms on the website as soon as possible. Hope to see a good turnout like last year!
We are hoping to have the sign project completed and inspected in the next few weeks. We are down to a small number of signs left to be installed and we have finally been able to eliminate the large storage facility expense now that this project has nearly been completed.
As a reminder, if you are considering any renovations to your property, please remember that you need Association approval. The website contains ARB Approval forms and provides instructions on how to obtain the necessary approval. We currently have several significant improvement projects ongoing in the community. Many of our residents are taking advantage of low rates and increasing property values to make improvements or additions to their property.
If anyone is interested in volunteering for committee work, please contact Pointe Management or check the website for committee information. Comments or suggestions for the Board of Directors can be made through the website. We welcome your support and suggestions.
Sincerely,
Bill Schira, President
for the Board of Directors
