Dear Members,

As we begin 2006 the board continues to work on improving our common areas.
The grinding of stumps should be completed this month. Our common grounds committee is working on a master landscape plan for all of Pheasant Way. Their goal is to have uniform landscaping the entire length of Pheasant Way. We want to use as much existing landscaping as possible. Having been hit with three storms in two years we have lost many trees and plants. Some existing plants and trees may need to be removed due to storm damage. If you would like to have input on this plan or assist with the process you are encouraged to attend the Common Grounds committee meetings. Dates and locations will be posted along Pheasant Way.

We are still awaiting bids for all other projects. We hope to have bids at our next meeting for street sign repair and replacement, dock repair ,and repair and replacement of lighting at our front entrance. We are also waiting on the county to inspect our park/preserve area. We need their approval before moving forward with further cleanup in that area.

We will begin violation inspections in January. The board would like to ask for the assistance of homeowners living along Pheasant Way. With the county back to normal trash service they will not pick up debris along Pheasant Way. Please do not to place any trash along Pheasant Way. If you have trash there please move it to the front of your property for pickup. If it isn't moved you will be given notice, then we will move it and you will be billed for the cost.
For homeowners that are repairing damage to your homes please be sure to have your exterior repairs approved by our ARB committee. ARB form are available on our website.
In other business the board approved the preservation of our covenants at the January meeting. This action does not change our covenants it only server to renew them. The annual election will be held in April. Residents interesting in running for the board or serving on the nominating committee should contact Pointe Management.

Sincerely,
Frank Yann
