Dear Members,

We start this new year with some changes to our Board. Bill Shira resigned effective December 30th. The Board would like to thank Bill for his work as President over the last three years. With Bills departure the Board reorganized with myself , Frank Yann, as President, Tanya Gibson Vice President, Ken Paulsen Secretary and Treasurer, Paul Duros Board Member. We currently have an open seat on the board. Our annual meeting and election, held the first week of April, is quickly approaching. Any resident interested in serving on the board should contact Pointe Management or attend our monthly meetings and meet with the Board.
In this letters I want to bring you up to date on old business as well as highlight a few of the new issues the Board will be addressing this year.
Under old business the issue with the largest financial impact is our hurricane costs. Property Management has spoken with County Commissioner Mary McCarty in efforts to recover the hurricane clean up expense from the County. We are awaiting Ms. McCarty's investigation and a final response to our request.
Under new business we have a number of projects for this year. Our bulk cable contract expires April 1, 2005. We are beginning negotiations and will provide updates as to the options available to the Community. We are seeking bids for the replacement of landscape damaged by the hurricanes along Pheasant Way. Our goal is to have this project completed by April. Homeowner violations have been a topic of discussion at many of our recent meetings. The Board is investigating our enforcement options. Our goal is to preserve and grow every residents investment in our community.
The board encourages all members to attend our meetings and give input to these issues as well as all our communities affairs.
Best Wishes in this New Year.

Sincerely,

Frank Yann
