Dear Pheasant Walk Neighbor:
On behalf of the Board of Directors, we thank the homeowners of PWHOA for placing their confidence in our leadership at the recent election. Your newly elected Board of Directors has made a commitment to lead our community based on a foundation of trust, cooperation and two way communication. With all of the advantages offered by our Homeowners Association, Pheasant Walk has faced difficult issues in the past and will continue to encounter challenges in the future.
As our community matures and shows its age, face lifts and major renovations are commonly seen in every section of the community. This is an indication that the community is improving and maintaining its recently earned reputation as one of the finest family oriented communities in Boca Raton.
Personally, I discovered Pheasant Walk when my children were small and I was ready to find a permanent home to raise my family. As the children grow up and prepare themselves for their own lives, I am grateful for the family of friends we have found here and intend to live here for many more years.
We all can agree on one subject: there is no way seven hundred homeowners will agree on any given issue. Attaining a reasonable balance between the best interests of individual homeowners and those of the community as a whole is tough work for any Board of Directors.
Each homeowner should know that the Board has a responsibility to uphold the covenants and bylaws of the association and the strong desire to conduct the association’s business on behalf of the welfare of the community as a whole. The Board intends to incorporate the expectations of homeowners by seeking their input at meetings, through committees and by any other available communication means.
You are invited to get involved at any level. If Pheasant Walk is "your home", you have the opportunity to make a difference in our community. Join a committee that is of interest to you. The Board is enthusiastic about the creation of active committees to carry out the ambitious agenda suggested by many homeowners.
There is much work to be done and we are ready and willing to do the job. Thank you again for the confidence you have placed in us and the opportunity to lead our community to a positive future.
