April 2005 President's Letter
Dear Members,
Our annual meeting was held on April 4 th at Calusa Elementary School. The was no election due to lack of a quorum. At the April 13 th board meeting the board voted to retain all members in their current positions. We have received our bids for the Pheasant Way landscaping project. Palm Beach-Broward
Landscaping had the lowest bid and was selected for the contract. They are scheduled to begin work the first of May and should have the project completed within a week. We have received bids for the painting of Military Trail and Pheasant Way walls. Gabes Pressure Cleaning and Painting had the lowest bid. The board has asked to have cleaning, patching and priming specified on the contract. This has been sent back to the vendor for approval. If approved by the vendor work could begin in May. In other business the board has asked for tree trimming bids for all of Pheasant Way. These bids will be in at the May meeting for approval. Work on this project should begin before hurricane season. These needed projects have used our discretionary monies for the year. It is now time for the
board to begin seeking input and setting priorities for future projects. We plan to include another survey with our cable bills in June. Last year over 300 surveys were returned. The survey results were used to decide on what projects the community wanted and what order to complete them. If you have any ideas or suggestions for improving the community you can send them to the board in a number of way. You can attend our meeting held the second Wednesday of each month, email the board from our web site http://pheasantwalkhoa.com/ , or mail the suggestions to Pointe Management.Sincerely,
Frank Yann
