We have spoken with Commissioner McCarty’s office regarding the hurricane costs and FPL light issue several times this past month. We have supplied her office with a total breakdown of the invoices regarding the tree removals and are pending their resolution. With regards to the lighting issue, they are compiling their information and will respond via letter to the association.
The PBSO detail will now deal with Paul Duros regarding shifts or changes. Mr. Duros’s telephone & fax numbers were forwarded to PBSO detail office to Cassandra. Their office will still mail Pointe Management the invoice every month.
Code Enforcement was unable to attend the February meeting. Richard Collier was contacted to have an officer attend the March meeting and he confirmed. They were given a follow up reminder call on 3-7-05 to confirm their attendance for the March meeting. We received a call from Mr. Collier on 3-8-05 in which he stated they would be unable to attend the March meeting due to medical problems of one of their staff. They are currently short-handed and would attempt to confirm another date in April if possible.
Violation letters were sent to the homeowners on March 7, 2005. A copy of the log will be supplied at the meeting. A February update log will also be available.
Alice Cohen from Adelphia Cable met with some of the Board members to discuss further negotiations on the current contract. More details will be discussed at tonight’s meeting.
Landscaping replacement and cleaning/painting of the Military wall will be further discussed at the meeting. We have received a proposal from South Coast Painting. Two other proposals are pending.
Candidates for this years election will be present at the meeting to give a short speech. The lease for Calusa is in the check run packet. It needs to be signed along with the check. A board member needs to drop off the lease, check and copy of insurance to the front desk. All items are attached to the check.
The mulch project got off to a slow start due to the rains. More loads were dumped off by Top Notch Landscaping and have been leveled off throughout the park in time for the picnic.
Palm Beach County School Board Transportation was contacted regarding the school bus making a U-Turn in the development ruining the swale area. The information was faxed to Ms. Shanks for investigation and response.
The 2 residents were billed for the dock insurance. One owner has submitted his payment. The other owner was sent a 2nd billing on 3-8-05 for payment.
The entrance lights for the community were replaced by the maintenance man.
The Board needs to make a decision regarding the landscaping specifications supplied at the last meeting so that estimates may be obtained.
