There are 2 bids in your packet concerning the dock cleaning & repair. One from Wash-Away is for complete wood restoration & dock cleaning for $8,751.51 and one from People’s Choice for wood repair only where needed & cleaning for $1,600.00.Palm Beach Broward has provided a copy of their insurance for 2006-2007. Copies were provided in the packets along with their cutting schedule.
Wackenhut will be at the meeting this evening.
Katzman & Korr was sent the completed paperwork for the preservation of the documents. David Kupperman filed the paperwork on 1-26-06. The filing fee was $1,353.00. (59 pages). He is expecting the recorded copy soon. Once received he will forward to our office and we will mail all owners the recorded updated copy.
We are pending final processing for payment from the Commissioner’s office for hurricane reimbursement. Their meeting on 2-28-06 will finalize the request & payment
will be made shortly afterwards.The street signs and decorative poles are pending replacement. All companies, Signarama, Jiffy Signs, McClaren Signs and Testa Signs have been contacted for bids.
Two electricians have been contacted regarding the entrance lights, junction boxes and old wiring hazards at the front entrance. One proposal will be distributed at the meeting.
American Lighting will have their bid faxed to our office by Friday 2-10-06.Melissa Corr from ERM has been assigned to our case with the Park. She will be out at the park area on 2-9-06 at 11:00 AM.
Road & Bridges Dept. was contacted regarding the cracked sidewalks along Pheasant Way. Steve Smith has called to state that the barricades will be placed up on Thursday 2-
9-06, but he cannot cut and replace sections due to the fact that homeowners have built their fence right up on the sidewalk. He is faxing our office an address list, so that we
may contact the owners to move their fences in and away from the sidewalk area so repairs can be made.Debris on Pheasant Way were removed. A letter has been drafted to send to all owners bordering the area so as to prevent further dumping. The Board needs to approve the
letter.Stump Grinding was performed so that the irrigation crew could begin repairs. Most of the problems have been repaired and the rest will be finished within a week. The property
will be fertilized February 13th using 16-2-8 with 50% release.Channel 63 was set up at Frank Yann’s home and is functional.
FPL has already credited the accounts for the periods where the street lights were inoperable. A pole that has a chunk missing from the concrete has been called in to FPL
with ticket #675.Gabe Storace has agreed to paint the top of the wall and the exposed areas without any problems. However, the timing of this work may be delayed for a while until he finished
other work contracted for. I will have a better gauge on the timing in the next few weeks.We have been advised that should the Board or committees use the fire station parking lot, please advise the station.
Our first sign estimate has come in for review.
