Golf Committee Update 9/15/03
The Golf Committee conducted its second meeting on August 26, 2003. Members present were: Rick Harrison, Greg Edlund, Hugh Holson, Miriam Tobias, John Mollica and Brian Duffey. Here are the key points from our meeting:
We are hoping for a big turnout of neighbors and friends at this years tourney. It is a fun, no pressure, non-competitive neighborhood event and everyone is welcome!
Make sure to invite any of your friends that would like to join us. This outing is not exclusive to Pheasant Walk residents. All levels of golfers, residents & non-residents are welcome. If you register as a single, double or triple, we will match you with other players to make a foursome.
We encourage everyone to become a sponsor – only $100.00 for Tee sign & recognition in tourney brochure, PW Website & News & Views.
We need your support – volunteers welcome (and needed)!
*Tourney date: Saturday, November 22, shotgun start at 8:00 Am.
*Location: the newly renovated Delray Municipal Golf Course
*Price will be - $55.00 per person (the same as last year, includes greens fees, ½ golf cart, lunch & lots more
*There will be Great prizes for the raffle, putting contest, longest drive, closest to pin, etc.
*Anyone who is interested in being a sponsor please contact the golf committee ($100.00 Silver Tee sponsorships or $500.00 Gold sponsorship (includes 4 spots in the tourney - a $220.00 value!)
The schedule of committee meetings are Sep. 23, Oct. 28, Nov. 18. All meetings start at 7:30 p.m. and conclude promptly at 9:00 p.m. Please call for more information
